A beloved friend has died, and three men attend his wake. They reveal themselves as old tensions surface while confronting their own sense of grief, guilt, and what was left unsaid. Through a series of intimate conversations with their dead friend, each man searches for grace, not only for himself, but for each other.
Join Aaron and several other Gemini Ink-Veterans’ Writing Collective artists as they showcase their work. Each artist is a recent participant in the Finding Voice & Vision project, created by composer, Kurt Erikson, poet, Brian Turner, and actor/director, Will Chase.
Aaron and Will co-wrote the film and it’s been entered into several film festivals including San Antonio, Austin and Telluride, so this will be one of the only opportunities to see it for some time.
The event is free to attend and open to Gemini Ink and Veteran’s Writing Collective participants, friends, and family.
More information will be posted this week regarding the venue location, but it is slated to be shown downtown, so mark your calendars and stand by for more specific details.
